Stunts!

So Courtney is having a ball with cheerleading. She has really dedicated herself to this and I am very pleased with her. I believe all of us in the house knows the Snow Canyon High School cheers by art. She plays the music as she practice and we practice too. I know a few kicks myself!
Anyway, the squad is leaving for Malibu, CA for cheer camp on Sunday and they will be at Pepperdine University for this, JEALOUS! The girls are having fun and this is such a great way for them to have fun. So, there are no pictures yet of cheer camp but we will post as soon as she gets back. I am not sure if I am doing a good job as a cheer mom! I am grumpy from these early morning practices and man, our schedule is totally based on cheerleading stuff.

Anyway, enjoy these photos of Courtney practicing and at some of the many fun stuff they do. Check out Courtney's "Herki" - I hurt from looking at her!

Roots from Jamaica!

Cheryl was born in Kingston, Jamaica. My roots are very deep from the island. Although, I spent most of my teen years in New York and am an american now, I still hold dear to those deep roots. The culture on raising kids, education, life, love, family and food. Mi luv mi mango!
Did you know that Jamaica has over 15 different species of mangoes? Mango is known as the fruit of the tropics. Mangoes are used in a variety of ways in the Caribbean. Green mangoes are used in hot sauces and condiments, while ripe mangoes appear in desserts and candies and in drinks. The best varieties of mangoes are the Bambay, East Indian, St. Julian and Hayden.
